What have we been up to??

Oh, wow, so much has been going on! We have been so incredibly busy but have been having a blast! Here's August in a quick recap:

We did a little crafting:

some Air Hockey:

some primping to get ready for the first day of KINDERGARTEN!!

Here's Kinley on her first day. She was SOOO excited to start school :)

Kinley and her teacher, Mrs. House
While Kinley has absolutely loved going to school, Kallen has had a hard time adjusting to not having her "Sissy" around. Most mornings she pouts and whines that she wants to go pick Sissy up as soon as we drop her off. (Me too, sniff, sniff.) And as soon as Kinley gets in our car in the afternoon, Kallen immediately perks up to her old self. So sweet, those two.

Another big development, we found out we are having a......... BOY!!

Due to some contractions, I had an ultrasound at 15 weeks. Not only did everything check out perfectly fine, I got to find out he is a "he"! What a surprise! Wow, we are going to have to try to de-pink the place a bit before our little man arrives, huh? We are all so excited, especially the girls. They love to hug my belly and talk about the "boy baby" and how much they already love him :)

Kallen started taking ballet and tap. Here she is with her sweet friend, Lacy, and Kinley

Totally random picture, but I like it. Popcorn fascinates my girls, they always have to watch :)

Then, Kallen started preschool! Yay! This has helped some with her morning sadness (on Tuesdays and Thursdays anyway). She has Ms. Cathy and Ms. Donita, the same sweet teachers Kinley had. After her first day with them Ms. Donita commented that Kallen talked more in that one day than Kinley did in a whole year, hahaha. That's my girl! :) I'd like to add that she's a good 5-6 inches taller than the other kids in the class!! She is loving school, too. Hope that lasts for both girls!

Kinley started cheering this fall for AYS. Below: Avery, Anna, Kinley

This was at their Jamboree, the first time to show off their skills :) Kinley liked it but said it was a lot of work :) That girl does not like to get hot!

But she sure looked cute out there!

Yes, we have been very busy bees around here. So busy, we decided to take a much needed break to go to the BEACH!! Yay!! Post to come soon, I am trying so hard to get caught up :)
