September 1st is called "901 Day", and so we decided to celebrate Memphis by taking the kids on a little day trip downtown. First up, riding the trolley!
When we go downtown, the girls say, "ooh, we are in the city!" Ha!
Graham enjoyed the trolley, too!
We rode the trolley down to the Arcade and had a delicious breakfast. Then, we hopped back on and rode to Mud Island.
Loving this beautiful day!
It's been several years since the girls had been to Mud Island, neither remembered it. They had so much fun walking down the Mississippi River

Oh my. My inner germaphobe was not loving this at all, but the kids were having a blast. I'm happy to say no one got sick from our swim in the Mississippi :)
Poor Graham did take a tumble, though ;(
Yum, a perfect ending to a perfect day!
