It has been a very long time since we've gone on vacation. In fact, with the exception of one trip to Knoxville last September, it's been two years! It didn't work out last year due to Kallen's cast, and then moving--not to mention the fact that Kallen hated car rides. So we were beyond delighted when Bud and KayKay suggested a family beach trip. We counted down the days, made our lists, packed our car, and hit the road for fun-filled week with Bud, KK, Allison, Jim and JonZReaTom!
We stayed at the yellow house in the middle--right on the beach and plenty of room for all of us!
When we got to the beach house, Kinley made a bee line outside to check out the view.
We soon went down to explore the beach. Our girls were not quite as brave as their cousins when it came to the ocean. Allison's kids just jumped on in the waves--ours preferred the safety of mommy or daddy's arms!
One thing they all enjoyed was the sand. And, yes, we were quite a spectacle on the beach. Many onlookers stopped to inquire as to how many kids were the same age. Luckily, the beach wasn't very crowded, so the news of "Quads!" spread pretty fast :)

it was crazy windy when we went to the beach, too! what is up with that? it makes crazy hair pictures! it looks like y'all had a blast! bud & kk are brave!
how fun! i can't believe the quads. it doesn't seem like that long ago that we were in small group and you told everyone your sister was having quads! The girls are so cute.
