We Love the Memphis Zoo!

We had been waiting and waiting for Kallen to be up and moving so we could go see the new dinosaur exhibit at the zoo. It was really hard for Kinley to wait ;). At long last, we made it there!

Kallen was terrified of the dinos, Kinley was brave, but didn't like getting too close. And Graham took it all in from the stroller :)

The sea lion "bubble"

While waiting in line to feed giraffes (another new feature we have been waiting to try out!) a little butterfly landed on a lady near us. Kinley could hardly contain herself, so the lady passed the butterfly on over to her. It hung out on her finger for the longest time!

Kallen finally got a turn, too. Calmest little butterfly ever.
(Those of you who know me well know I was a tad bit grossed out by the whole deal, but I kept it together for my girls' sake, they just love butterflies. Me, no. That's a story for another day.)

We finally got our turn. It was so neat! The girls got to feed lettuce leaves to the sweet giraffes.

Look at that tongue!

Poor Jeff spent the whole time chasing G around. He was getting restless in the stroller and just wanted to run! The girls helped wrangle him in when we were done. I love this!

Ah, the cow picture. A Perkins tradition :)

Time to go! Goodbye, zoo! We will see you again soon!
