Dandelion was feeling bad for both of the girls. Kinley's chin is not looking too hot right now, and Kallen is off for another surgery. When we woke up to go to the hospital, we found him bandaged on his chin and hip :)
This silly girl was actually excited about her surgery. She said, "I can't wait to be back in your hospital! I love laying in the bed, watching TV, and getting presents!" Ha!
However, a few nights before surgery she started getting very nervous and sad about missing her school Christmas party. We talked to her about her worries and tried to keep her as busy as possible. God is so good, she seemed to "forget" about the stress and never mentioned being worried again.

After an hour and a half surgery, sweet baby girl was back in recovery. There is nothing better than getting that call in the waiting room that you can go be with your baby.
We finally got a room and settled in to watch Tinkerbell. Sweet girl was anxious to get up and moving. PT brought a walker by and she did great! I know I've said a million times what a great patient she is, but it's true! She never took pain medicine after surgery. Even after we were home, she claimed she didn't need it. What a trooper!
Some volunteers also came and made crafts with her
My parents stayed with Kinley and Graham while we were at the hospital and got Kinley off to school. That evening, Aunt Julie and Aunt Connie brought her and all the girls up for a visit! This totally made Kallen's day ;) That, and the visits from Mrs. Kari and Mrs. Amie--especially the cookies and cards the Yates kids made! :)
We were discharged the next day and were happy to be home. Graham was really happy to see his sister :)
Now, if we can just keep him from knocking her over! Anytime she uses the walker he tries to take it!
Mrs. Kari acted as Kinley's "mom" at the Christmas party and she got to go home with them since we were still making our way home from the hospital. I don't think she minded one bit!
So very thankful for all of our family and friends!! And so thankful that 2012 is almost behind us! I, for one, am ready for a New Year!!
