Kinley is in her second year of ballet and loves it! Kallen is in her second year of jealousy that she cannot yet take ballet :) Once a year, they open the class to the moms and siblings and strongly encourage/mandate that we participate with our little ballerinas. It was so much fun to see Kinley showing off all she's learned since last year. She's quite the little dancer, if you ask me. Kallen was equally as excited to show off her skills. She woke that morning asking for her "ballet stuff" to wear and strutted her stuff with the best of them. Not shy, that one. Nope. Not when it comes to ballet, that is.

The girls all danced so lovely, we moms all stumbled our way awkwardly through it complaining about shin splints the whole time, and Kallen hopped right into the middle of it all looking like a pro. After dancing, Ms. Carrie told the story of Jesus' birth using candy (so cute) and gave the girls pretty ballerina ornaments. So fun! See ya in 2010, ballet!
