It's been quite a year for the Perkins family, especially for Kallen. This child has endured so much this year medically speaking, and has been such a trooper throughout. We are still not at the end of the road, she is doing Physical Therapy and is making great strides, but still walks with a limp. More on that later. Point is, when Kallen asked for a Chuck E. Cheese party (which was so not my choice), who could say no?? And Kinley was equally excited about getting to party there. There's just something about a place where a kid can be a kid... haha.
I made the cutest invitations I could come up with and we invited all her closest friends to party with us. I think the pictures pretty much say it all. Love these smiles!

Birthday girl!
I've got to give a little back story here. One of the greatest draws for having a party at Chuck E. is the wind tunnel. The commercials promote the stew out of it, and the birthday boy or girl has a chance to win a voucher worth 1,000 tickets!!! IF you can catch it that is. Kallen was so excited about her party, but was so very nervous about the wind tunnel. She stressed about it for weeks leading up to the party. Kinley was always very eager to tell her she would GLADLY step in and do it for her, but Kallen really wanted to do it. Well, the time came and I could see the fear a mile away.
Bless her heart, she just stood there frozen shaking her head "no". So, Kinley came to the rescue and jumped right in there. No fear, here!
Kallen watches her big sister in action from the safety of Daddy's arms.
And, Kinley won the big prize!!! Way to go, Kinley!! Kallen was so excited and grateful for her sister stepping in for her. They shared all the tickets and racked up some amazing prizes. This moment made both of their days :)

Happy Birthday, Kallen! We love you so much and are so proud of you!
