Our little baby boy is two!! How could it be? It seems just yesterday we were in the hospital holding that little (big) bundle of joy! :) Oh, what a fun two years it has been. To celebrate his big day, we went to the mall for our traditional birthday fun. After eating in the food court, we headed to Build a Bear! Side note, are my kids the only ones who each prefer a different restaurant in the mall? One wants only Chik Fil A, one wants only Wendy's, and the other really likes pizza best...and since it's his birthday and all... Anyway, back to Build a Bear. Our sweet friends, the Tidwells, gave G a gift certificate for Christmas, so we thought this would be the perfect time to go! Unfortunately, there is a small carousel outside of the store so G couldn't get past that. More unfortunately, the carousel was broken. So, he spent most of the time there running OUT of Build a Bear and desperately trying to make the carousel work. He finally got in on the fun, but there girls dominated for a while. Of course, they got to choose a little something, too :)
After building our puppy, rabbit, and bear (hmm, like the food court, they all chose different animals...) we went to ride the carousel. So fun! Graham LOVED it!
We got some yummy cookies and headed home. What a fun birthday evening!
The next day, G and I hung out at Office Max for a LONG time waiting on a very special project to be finished. Jeff's parents' 45th anniversary was coming up, and his Dad put together a surprise dinner for Gigi! Julie offered to host a little "after-party" for dessert so we could visit and let the kids play a bit. We wanted a special gift to give them, and decided to make a book of 45 Memories/Things we love about them. All the children helped make the book, and it turned out really well (after a LOT of waiting and re-doing by Office Max!) It ended up not even being ready for pick up, but during our pointless waiting, G had a lot of fun pushing buttons and roaming the office store, ha! We can make anywhere exciting ;) He even got a tour of the behind the scenes office work area. No wonder the poor worker couldn't seem to get the book right...haha.
Kinley, Lucy, Kallen, Olivia
Such big girls! They were so excited to get to join in the fun for the "grown up" party!
Beautiful Torregrossa family :)
Adam, Connie, and sweet Alice
(G isn't the best at hanging out in a highchair for long amounts of time, so Bud and Kk sweetly agreed to keep him. Thank you!! It definitely made our dinner much more enjoyable!)
Finally, the guests of honor arrived!
Me and Jeff
Check out the decorations, so sweet!
Back at Julie's, we enjoyed some yummy cookies! Aren't they beautiful!!
Happy Anniversary, you two! Congratulations on 45 years and thank you for the wonderful example you are to all of us!
