So....the surprise of the day was... Breakfast with Pirates!
Kari and I found some great pirate gear to get our kiddos looking the part.
Argh, Matey!
Waiting for the pirates!
The pirate gave the kids instructions that they would be searching for buried treasure.
They're off to follow the clues on the map!
Argh! They found the treasure!
Even little bit got in on the fun...
"argh!"
It was a fun way to start the day!
Before leaving, Jeff snapped this picture of Kallen with the "O-tay" lunchbox, haha.
After breakfast, Kari and I got to do some shopping at the outlet mall in Foley. The guys were in charge and we all had a fun day!
The next day, back to the pool! Ladybugs were everywhere!
Later that day, we had a picnic lunch on the beach.
Even Graham woke up for a little while! Wow, those cheeks look massive! :)
That night, we got all cleaned up and went to Sea 'n' Suds for dinner
We decided to drive to the Wharf for some dessert.
What? Too many pictures??
Sweet smile from a beautiful girl!
Then we rode the Ferris Wheel. Did you know they let anyone ride those?? And we are those parents who actually took our 6 mo old on a ferris wheel!
No, we are not sunburned, we are sweating to death in this plastic-window-enclosed buggy! It was so hot!! But so fun!
We finished up the night at the Build-a-Bear...not building or buying anything! We thought we saw a sign that you could build an Angry Bird (which the kids are WAY into right now!). But really, they just sell the already made ones. No problem, except they were out of the ones Kinley and Kallen really wanted. I was so proud of them, they chose to wait until we were home to get the ones they wanted rather than to buy something just for the sake of getting something. Even when Jack and Jacob found the ones they wanted and got to get them. Very mature, girls! No pouting or anything! :)
The Beach Trip Finale coming soon...
