We were up bright and early at 6:00 our first day! We grabbed breakfast at the resort and then caught a bus to Magic Kingdom. We were there in time to see the Opening Ceremonies. I totally did not expect for it to be so emotional! Disney truly is a magical place, and seeing the excitement in their faces brought tears to both my and Jeff's eyes. What a memory.

Our first ride: Dumbo! It was so neat, there was an indoor playground where the kids could play while waiting their turn to ride. There was no wait when we got there, but the girls had a blast playing on the playground anyway!
We rode Peter Pan's Flight and then saw Mickey's Philharmagic. That was really neat, one of our favorites!
It's a Small World!
Funny story, getting in our little boat my "refillable Souvenir mug" fell in the water. Jeff fished it out when we caught up to it... um... no thanks. I'll sacrifice the $13 mug rather than drink out of a mug that floated in the Small World water!! ; )
The Adventures of Pooh
More neat things to do while waiting in line! We were so fortunate, for it being a busy Saturday, we really didn't encounter much of a line!
We debated on whether or not to do autograph books, but decided that the girls would probably enjoy collecting signatures. Boy, did they!! Meeting the characters was one of their favorite things.

And how awesome is this!? Our friends, the Yates, were at Disney, too! We found each other near Tomorrowland. So fun!
We rode Buzz Ranger Spin, did the Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor, and rode the Barnstormer/Great Goofini rollercoaster at Kinley's request! It was the girls' first roller coaster and they really liked it...I think! Kinley couldn't quit shaking after because of the nervous excitement and Kallen just kept giggling, ha! We decided to take a chance on Splash Mountain. Kinley was NOT a fan. Kallen said she loved it and was giggling uncontrollably when it was over. She did not want to ride again though :)
We had lunch at the Columbia Harbour House and had an appointment for the girls at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique that afternoon!
This photographer was hilarious, he kept asking Kinley how she got here and pretended to be so confused by the concept of an airplane--"Is it a bird that swallows you, flies here, and then spits you out??" She thought he was too funny. He also was in awe of her Twinkle Toes :)
We brought dresses from home and the girls got the royal treatment!

Waiting for the Haunted Mansion. They weren't really thrilled with this one, either. I loved this ride as a child, but can see how it might be scary to them. They survived, though :)
Kallen had some kind of allergic reaction to something (that hair!?) and wasn't feeling too great. But, a a quick dose of Claritin had her feeling better in no time!
Finally, it was time for dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table!

The girls got so much attention from the parade characters. These guys "fainted" at the sight of real princesses!

After the parade, we got ready to watch the fireworks. The girls loved being in a stroller where they could relax and enjoy the ride!
Jeff and I enjoyed the fireworks show. The girls...
...are too precious. So glad we made the trip and looking forward to many more magical days!
