Disney, Day Two: Animal Kingdom

We were up and at 'em again early on Day 2. The girls woke up surprisingly easily despite the long day and late night. We calculated that we were at Magic Kingdom almost 16 hours! Whoa! Today will be a more relaxing day :)

First stop: we met up with the Yates again and went on the Safari together! We had great views of the animals who were very active!

Next, was "It's Tough to Be a Bug". Carson cracks me up with the faces he makes when you take his picture!

The Yates went on to some more adventurous ride, while we headed to the Lion King show.

On the way, we met Pocahontas!

What a handsome Daddy :)

Family photo! Wow, the humidity really did a number on my hair!

A couple of little friends we picked up to enjoy the day with

 Lion King show

We had lunch at the Flame Tree BBQ and then continued exploring Animal Kingdom. The girls loved playing in the Boneyard. It was a nice break to just let them run around and play for a bit. Then, we rode the Primeval Whirl and the Triceratop Spin. They were a little nervous about these, but had a great time!

Last ride of the day, Kali River Rapids. So fun! Kinley and I wore our ponchos so we wouldn't get TOO wet :)

That afternoon, we went back to the hotel for a nap and got cleaned up for our dinner at O'Hana's!

The girls got to do a morocco parade and limbo!

The family!

Kallen was so very silly at dinner. Not sure what got into her, but she kept us laughing!

Kinley didn't eat anything but bread for dinner, but thank goodness she liked the ice cream!

That evening, we went to Downtown Disney and stopped at the Lego Store!
Kallen's Mickey Mouse creation

Kinley was hard at work on her masterpiece, so Kallen and I went exploring the store. We found a giant Woody made of Lego's!

Finally, Kinley completed her beautiful house!

We took a boat ride back to our resort.
The flash is too bright, Mom!

Kallen got a ride on Daddy's shoulders

And Kinley took charge of the backpack :)

Another wonderful day in Disney!!
